Guidelines for intensified TB case-finding and isoniazid preventive therapy for PLWH in resource-constrained settings

Tuberculosis (TB) is responsible for more than a quarter of deaths in people living with HIV.  In response to dual epidemics of HIV and TB, the WHO has recommended 12 collaborative TB/HIV activities as part of core HIV and TB prevention, care and treatment services. These new guidelines include recommendations on simplified screening and isoniazid preventive therapy (IPT) as a core component of HIV prevention and care.
