Soroti Regional Referral Hospital (RRH) is one of the 13 public RRH in the country, located 320km northeast of Kampala. Opened as a syphilis treatment center in the mid-1920s, it became a district hospital in 1978, and was elevated to a RRH in 1996. Now it offers general and specialized services to people in Samurai, Bukedea, Kaberamaido, Katakwi, Kumi, Serere, Ngora and Soroti Districts.
