A total of 3,995 children under 15 years of age were tested for HIV during the KYCS campaign. Of the 3,660 children between 18 months and 15 years of age who were tested, 107 children (3%) tested positive for HIV and were enrolled into care and treatment services. After assessment for eligibility, 55% were immediately initiated on Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART).
